Internship

Georgia Children’s Internship, also known as GCI,  is a missions opportunity for Middle and High School students. It was established in 2014 out of a need to connect student throughout Georgia and surrounding states to an opportunity to serve and grow. Students will:

 

· Learn the Basics of Ministry

· Advance in Leadership Skills

· Learn the Importance of Prayer and Discipleship

· Connect with Children’s Pastors and Leaders

· Develop Work Ethic

· Put to Practice Daily Teamwork

· Have One-on-One Mentorships with Directors

· Gain a Better Understanding of Responsibility for one’s self and others

Georgia Children’s Internships gives students the ability to learn through actual experience. Students aren’t just serving but are being taught the process of planning, problem solving, and event management. Students can earn up to 80 hours of Community Service per week. The program will take place during the months of June and July. Week long trips will include Kids Camps and Missions Outreaches. Students will have the    opportunity to attend one week of Georgia Youth Camp, where they will be campers and be invested in by camp staff. There will also be numerous opportunities throughout the year for interns to serve, such as Kids Fest, Girls Retreat, and Pow Wow.
